According to the American Psychological Association, one in four people report that they have been alienated from a friend or family member because of stress.  Additionally, money is one of the biggest stressors for 75% of Americans.

The holiday season is, therefore, a time that can cause family stress overload.

Kathy Wakile and her family are known for their old-fashioned family values and avoiding drama among family members.  “We pride ourselves on keeping a level head at all times,” says Kathy.  “I used to teach Sunday school, and I still apply basic philosophies of respect, tolerance, love, and holiday spirit in my day-to-day life.  I teach my kids those values too.”

Jay Wagnon, CEO of Design Spree, has built an organization around teamwork and respect as well.  “Our sales team gets regular training on how to face day-to-day retail challenges with a spirit of respect for our customers and vendors.”

Design Spree is known for its creative approach to merchandising and customer service, the Lawrenceville and Maywood locations give consumers the variety and quality service they’d find in any high-end furniture store-but at 40-60% less than retail.

Holiday treats for the events will be provided by the family-owned DiBruno Bros. company (Lawrenceville) and Fairway Paramus (Maywood).
